My inspiration comes from anything and everything, it could even be a butter tub. Other artists, life, dreams.
2. Who is you artistic hero?
All artists of all styles, I have no favourite or hero, anyone who can use a brush computer, pen and make something just leaves me in awe. So many on GCU to many now to name them all :)
I doodled non stop always loved art and always home made greeting cards, until my teens. I was not allowed to take art classes as a young teen, that just made me more determined as an adult to do it, I just feel gutted at times that I missed out on key important artistic things that would make me semi decent. As for my graphic design, I accidently fell into that.
4. Do you create each day or only when feeling inspired?
Each day, all day, non stop :P even taking a break I am researching colour trends
5. How do you feel when you are creating your artwork?
Sane :D happy.
We have an office and we face back to back, he works over there, I work here in my extremely messy nest.
7. Are you a career artist?
hmm I was a career graphic designer, as for art I do it because I have to it's a need I'd go nuts if I did not do it :P
Like a butterfly on the move continuously and changing
9. What technique/s do you use?
Photography, Paint, Digital, Drawing
10. If any, what software do you use to aid in your artwork?
Poser, Photoshop, Vue, Illustrator, Daz
This winter I took course after course on digital painting I am not happy with it yet, but I am doing it to try and learn more and more, and a course in photography, I am so sick of grad filters f stops and iso's ha. As for art itself I am self taught.
I don't think I have one *ponders*
13. Does your art have a deeper meaning?
No it just keeps me from eating walls and rocking in corners :P
14. Do you aspire to be like any other artist?
Yes all of them without the other artists I would be nothing, I draw on their energy and the want to be as good as them, a lot of them on GCU so so many. I mean I don't want to design like them, but equally as good or as close to as good as them I can get.
Oh I don't know I just want it to be enjoyed by all ages, I don't plan, I just design from the heart daily, I just want people to be happy when they receive a card or piece of wall art.
16. What is the place of you artwork in society?
I don't know, I would hope that it makes people feel good
Usual, Wife, Mother, Nanny x2, love walking in the countryside, reading, cooking is my second passion.
19. When did you start and how long have you been doing this?
I was 19 starting graphic design 28 years
It hopefully gets better :) and changes with ebbs and flows (oh very poetic)
21. What is your favourite piece of art you have created?
None I am one of those that their own work is never good enough, keeps me on my toes though :)
22. How does your art make you feel?
I don't think deeply like that :) I just do and hope that I sell from time to time
24. Does it matter to you if your artwork never makes you rich?
No no :) it should never be about the money, it should be enjoyable, money is a bonus of course but it's not the most important thing in life, love and happiness is! money and being rich means nothing without love and joy.
Anyone and everyone, I really do try and cover all ground, but I must say I do have a fairy soft spot
A Christmas card on GCU boy was I excited, what am I saying I still get excited at a sale ha. Every sale the hubby has to hear about it :P
(not many likes though people tend to use my home one)
28. Where can we reach you?
I am always on Facebook, usually waiting for renders to finish, or on a break from designing, that will be the second Facebook link, I rarely go on the other as people tend to go to my home one. And all the silly app games are on the main :P And my emails' are open all the time, bordering obsession ;)
I am dyslexic, poor reviewers have a dreadful time with me, and effects my grandma, no no I mean grammarI hate hearing my name so much that everyone calls me Moonie or Tan at a push
