I never knew the word "bored" because I was always busy doing something.
2. Do you create each day or only when feeling inspired?
Only when inspired - seems the full moon has an effect on my creativity too. I don't grow fur and fangs but man, sometimes the pull of the moon gets me going big time whether it be picking up a paint brush, doodling, or trying something new in the way of creativity/art.
It's always been fun - a way of expressing my imagination, more so when I was young, but even now to see something come to life from out of my head.
4. Where do you do your work?
Depends. I love the outdoors so having camera in hand is always a must. But when painting my model horses and dinosaurs or designing, I'm in my "office" in front of the computer and lately piping in documentaries on dinosaurs or other prehistoric life or other science related topics.
5. Do you aspire to be like any other artist?
No. I would prefer to be unique at some point in time but I am still learning - so I've been exploring what others do to learn from.
It could go in any direction. There are days I prefer to paint 3d models with brush in hand and other days, especially when the sun is shining, I'd rather be outside taking pictures. I have been inspired by other artists to try my hand at sculpting and don't want to be labeled as just one type of artist - photographer, painter, sculptor. I like trying different things as they influence me.
7. Where can we find you artwork online or elsewhere? Where can I see more of your artwork?

I wanted to be a paleontologist as a kid. I grew up not with Barbie dolls and playing house. My first good friend was a neighbor and classmate in kindergarten who was into dinosaurs. Well, I was hooked forever. I remember my mom bringing home my first dinosaur kit and she added a new one here and there over time (still have them!!). I also am a huge fan of Japanese monster movies of old (Godzilla, Gamera) and anything of the sort science fiction. Of course this followed me into adulthood and although I never became a paleontologist, I still love the natural world, have a degree in Biology and am heavily into ecology and the beauty of nature.
I've been doodling since early childhood - always had a coloring book or sketch pad. Got into photography (never formally trained) when I was young too. Can remember my mom's little Kodak Instamatic. Topics were for the most part nature related - loved to document what I saw in nature - animals, flowers, etc.
10. How does your art make you feel?
It's always relaxing. I don't work on something requested if it isn't "happening". I do my best work when the work is speaking to me (yeah, I hear voices in my head!). Seriously though, I like to work on a multitude of items and rotate through them.
I know I will never be rich and that's ok. First and foremost is creating for me but it is nice when folks contact me because they saw something I did and want me to do something for them (mostly happens with my horse hobby but hoping other avenues will open over time). However, it has been nice, especially with the advent of the Internet, to be able to create work and showcase it on my own website (which has changed hosts many times over the years). So, earning something from it is always a benefit and it is nice to gain recognition.
Yes - listed above.
13. Where can we reach you?
If you want direct email, use the contact box on my website (either of them have it).
Many thanks
